Comprehensive Plan Update Engagement
The Halfmoon Comprehensive Plan Update was guided by a collaborative, consensus-driven planning process that emphasized meaningful public participation. A robust public engagement program was implemented to gather input from residents, business owners, property owners, visitors, and other community stakeholders, ensuring that the updated plan reflects the community’s shared vision and priorities.
Comprehensive Plan Update Committee Meetings
The Comprehensive Plan Update Committee is expected to meet every other month on the first Thursday at 6:00 PM in the Halfmoon Town Hall (2 Halfmoon Town Plaza).
Public comment welcomed and encouraged via comment card submission at meeting and written comments may be dropped off or mailed to Dept. of Building, Planning & Development, Halfmoon Town Hall, 2 Halfmoon Town Plaza, Halfmoon NY 12065 Attn: Comprehensive Plan Update

Public Engagement Plan
A Public Engagement Plan has been developed to identify opportunities to gather information from members of the public and stakeholders. Input received is critical to making informed decisions, which are supported by the Town residents.
